The Challenge:
| | Besides all the quizzes and the competitive games, there is another major area on FunTrivia, but it is a bit more hidden, accessed from the bottom of the home page: The Crossword Puzzles. This area offers over 1,300 crossword puzzles also created by the players and authors of FunTrivia.com.
The crossword games are a bit different from the rest of the site in that, while anyone can play them and enjoy the challenge, only gold members will have their scores and times recorded, so if you like the crosswords a lot, you might consider a subscription.
All members, regardless of gold status, can however play the crosswords, and this challenge is just about that: Pick any medium or large crossword you like (the information about the size is shown after the category and difficulty) and complete it. If you get stuck somewhere, just switch on Easy Mode - this will highlight correct letters in green and wrong ones in red so you can work out your errors. But of course, it's much more fun to try without! |
