gracious1 Prolific Registered: Tue May 01 2012 Posts: 1750 Loc: New York USA	A couple of times I have gotten negative feedback about a quiz, and when the unsatisfied quiz-taker uses the feedback system, the message is prefaced with « Compliment! » no matter how negative the particular feedback may be. It's really disconcerting to get a message like this... Compliment! Dull as ditchwater. ... when it's obviously not a compliment. Can something be done to adjust the preface so that it's something more neutral, or so that the user can pick "Compliment!" vs a more neutral "Feedback"? _________________________ (*)> / ) /"

However, we do not encourage that kind of message. When it is brought to an editor's attention, they will ask the player concerned to refrain from sending negative messages. This is what shows up when you fill in the box "Like this quiz? Let the author know!" Now, that does suggest that it is complimentary, but I think when you are quickly rating a quiz, it is tempting just to write something in. _________________________ (*)> / ) /"

It is up to the sender to decide if they want to do so or not.

There is no need to make it easier to send criticisms when we don't actually want them sent. Compliments or silence is the way to go on quizzes.
