I found this one out by sheer accident this morning:

After you take your coffee out of the microwave and you see it bubbling, stir the coffee BEFORE adding powdered creamer to it. If you don't it will fizz all over the place like the vinegar and baking soda science project.

Thanks, JoJo. I'm just lucky I'm not asking anyone for burn tips right now. That coffee went EVERYWHERE in flat second! I kicked one of my cats out of the way when it started to go onto the floor so he wouldn't get hurt.

Fortunately, I have fast enough reflexes the I got the cat and myself out of the way quickly enough. I did use your 2 words, gilly, to cool the coffee down, though.

You actully shouldn't use that stuff if it is a bad burn i will make it worse or put you shock
