I hope I'm in the right forum.
Anyway, here is a simple way to get rid of these awful black spots on your face, especially on the nose (I don't know the name of it in english). You take a spoon of sugar and wet it with some olive oil just enough to become as a cream. Then you just rub it on your face gently. I tried it myself and it works, just don't overdo it!

It sounds like you are referring to what we in the states would call a "Blackhead". How long does this cure take to work its magic?

How long? It works at once actually! If we are talking about the same thing. Well, I don't guarantee that you'll get rid all of them but I can assure you that you will sense the difference on your skin!

Blackheads or freckles?

If it's blackheads, I can understand wanting them to go away. But, no one'd better touch my freckles! I happen to love them!

Freckles? No, I like my freckles too. They're lovely especially when you have red hair and green eyes, just like a fairy!
No, I mean the black spots that I suppose you call blackhead that are closed pores of the skin. But even if it doesn't work on you in this way, it cleans your face. Olive oil is good to remove the make-up in a natural way!

Do you know that as you've told us you're from a Mediterranean background that olive oil might work better for you than it would for me?
I know this from experience with various skin ailments around this family, and olive oil is one of the best things.
Eczema responds better sometimes to olive oil than dousing it with steroids!
Blackheads respond to olive oil? Might be fighting fire with fire!

Freckles? Apparently men like them!

It's not the oil that fight them actually. The oil is useful just for the sugar to stay on the skin. Sugar is doing the whole job as it scrubs the skin and pushing the dirt come out of the pores, I suppose. This is something I learned from my grandmother and she was not a dermatologist.

The ancient Greeks used to bathe with oil, using a special scraper to take off the excess.  Barring allergies, most vegetable oils are compatible with the skin.

To moisturize dry skin, apply it daily directly to dry spots and stretch marks.  You're not going to be using that much so use the best olive oil; extra virgin.
Pure and Light olive oil has been chemically processed, avoid it.

To make a face mask with olive oil , use a good quality of clay mud or avocado.  Leave for 5-10 minutes, then rinse.

Where else is olive oil used?

Lip balm, shampoo, bath oils, hand lotions, soap, soak for nails, massage oil, dandruff treatment, etc.

Soaking fingernails in warm olive oil will soften cuticles and help brittle nails become more resilient.
