- The Islanders and Blues both dropped two games this weekend as teams make their final pushes to make the playoffs. There are four playoff positions open in the East, but it's mostly jockeying for seeding in the Metropolitan Division by the Rangers, Flyers and Blue Jackets, and two in the West still to be decided, one of which is being hotly contested by the Stars and Coyotes.
- Sypher made things interesting by picking a bad week to go default only getting a six, but lucky for him the two tippers behind him scored six and seven, which allowed srini to jump up two spots to second. Sypher's lead is six going into the last week. The final two podium positions are very much up for grabs as srini is in second, illiniman is one behind him and paper_aero just one behind illiniman. Fifth place is six points behind fourth and would need a monster week to make the podium.
- In root for the underdog news Bx, Howie, illiniman, LeoDaVinci, ozzz2002, srini and wwe were all 1-0. N-Bomb was 1-3 and dg_dave was 0-1.

- Sypher dominated this season crusing to a well earned 1st place finish, leading the last 15 weeks and the final 12 of those by a minimum of 5. Paper_aero made a big final run for the podium but in a close race for those last 2 spots srini took 2nd and illiniman 3rd.
- The most HoFs was shared by Sypher and Bx with 6, N-Bomb took the most spoons with 12 and lapped the field a few times in bonus points with 33. Everyone got at least 1 bonus point this season, wwe was the only tipper not to take a HoF, while srini and illiniman were the only ones to go the full season without a spoon.
- Enjoy the chaos that is the NHL playoffs, GO RANGERS.

The last time the NHL comp was run was the 2011-12 season. Two players
went spoon-less for the entire season and were still spoon-less this season:
Sypher .. 62 weeks26 weeks .. no spoon entire 2011-12 season
19 weeks .. collected spoon in wk 7 of 26 of previous season 2010-11
17 weeks .. no spoon this season 2013-14 until week 18 srini701 .. 55 weeks 26 weeks .. no spoon entire 2011-12 season
3 weeks .... collected spoon in wk 23 of 26 in previous season 2010-11
26 weeks .. spoon-less all of this season 2013-14 srini701 streak still running

Well run comp, BxB...thanks a lot and congrats to Sypher and illini...guess I am more interested in the spoonless streak than the medal position  A well run comp, but I never broke the top ten...the only tipper not to. No wonder I don't know much about hockey! Nah, Dave...I promise I know ABSOLUTELY nothing of this sport either, and in fact wonder why it is called hockey in the first place...they don't play it on a field, they don't have 11 players a side, they don't even use a ball! Only because they use hockey sticks??
