	A-League	2013-14
Tipping Competition

A-League football (soccer) is back for another year, so get your names down for another lucky dip.

Rules

[*] Threads will close prior to the start of the first game.
[*] A bonus point will be awarded for a perfect score.
[*] A bonus point will also be awarded for anyone that tips a result solo.
[*] Ties will be broken in the following order
1)- HoF/Spoon differential
2)- Most Hall of Fame awards
[*] Picks of all home games will be penalised a point.
[*] Default will be equal to the lowest score each round.
[*] Late starters will be given a score equivalent to the last-placed active tipster.

First round starts Friday, October 11, and fixtures will be posted very soon. Most rounds will kick off on Friday evening, and threads will close just prior to that time. Games will be posted this weekend.

Welcome to the A-League tipping comp for 2013-14.
Two players from the last comp are no-shows, so far- doomed and LeoDaVinci. The rest of us have signed up for another season of pointless guessing.
Our first HoFers are FussBudget and gtho4, who both jagged 4/5! At the other end of the table, with a big, fat goose-egg, is none other than perpetual tail-ender, ozzz2002.

Only one game had a result, with Brisbane clobbering Sydney. The other four games all ended in draws.
BxBarracuda tipped 3/5 and is now in a share of the lead, whilst George95 and Howie72 also scored HoFs and moved up a bit.
srini701 hoodooed himself and scored a spoon, but he was not on his tod- five other tipsters matched him.

Two people retained their spot from last week. srini701 is still in 11th, and ozzz2002 is still last, and not happy about it!
George95 hit two HoFs in a row and rocketed into the lead. N-Bomb and paper_aero also got 4/5 and moved into a share of fourth.
BxBarracuda got a spoon and lost the top spot, and Sypher also scored a solitary point and fell a bit.

George95 has three HoFs in a row and has opened up a two-point break over the rest of the field! N-Bomb and paper_aero also picked 4/5 and jump into equal second. srini701 climbed up a bit, too, but lost a points because of the 'all-home-games rule'.
There were a couple of spoons awarded, too, but the less said about that, the better.
