The post about the first black pitcher reminded me of these:

The Brooklyn Dodgers, of course, were the first major league baseball team to have a black player -- Jackie Robinson in 1947.

What was the first American League team to integrate, when did it happen, and who was he?

What major league team was the [b]last[b/] to have a black player, what year, and who was he?

Cleveland later in 1947 made Larry Doby the first black to play in the AL and the Boston Red Sox were the last team to employ a black player in 1959 with Pumpsie Green!
