There's a bar in San Francisco right off Union Square that bears his name. Been there
since the 1950's I think. Lots of great baseball memorabilia on the walls from Lefty's playing and coaching days. Great
hofbrau style food and the best Irish coffee in town. They were going to close it down a couple of years ago because the lease was up,
but I think the city stepped in and declared
it a historic landmark or something. There's
also a drawbridge right next to the new Giants ballpark named after O'Doul. They're restoring it now so it'll be ready for use when Pacbell Park opens. I can hardly wait!
