He is mentioned on someone else's plaque! According to this players biography, he did something his first 4 years in the majors thats never been duplicated! There used to be 3 players: Frank Selee on Tommy McCarthy's plaque Larry Doby on Bill Veeck's plaque But they are now in the Hall of Fame! ------------------ "I've never felt closer to a group of people.
