It's great to see stories like this in the news; they are few and far between. What an incredible job the city of San Francisco, Make-a-Wish and volunteers did to make this happen.

Quote:
Thousands turned out in the streets of San Francisco today to cheer on Batkid, the 5-year-old boy with leukemia whose dream to be Batman for a day is coming true.

The Make-a-Wish Foundation created an entire day catered to Miles' dream, which began with a televised plea from the police chief for Batkid’s help to bring the bad guys to justice.

This was so great - people really do want to do nice things, when they can.

People are still talking about this. I think we're hungry for positive stories.

Those involved were very imaginative, setting up scenes for the boy to Confront Evildoers and everything. They gave him happy memories to help him through his hard days.

So nice to see the good in people, instead of being served up the usual depressing news.
