Who was the only catcher in the history of Major League Baseball history to win two batting crowns?

That would be 'The Schnozz' Ernie Lombardi.

[b]You are correct Partsdude![/b It was the hard-hitting Ernie Lombardi, who led the National League in 1938 with a .342 average and again in 1942 with a .330 campaign.

Mike Piazza could match or beat the record, but he has to get that first title under his belt: He came in second in 1995 (with a .346 average), third in 1996 (.336), third again in 1997 (.362), and fourth in 1998 (.329). It's Mike's tough luck to be a great hitting catcher at a time when everyone's hitting like crazy.
