Cronulla Sharks have sacked Todd Carney after a disgusting picture that surface on social media over the weekend.

This is the 3rd NRL club to sack Todd Carney with Canberra Raiders & Sydney Roosters being the other 2 clubs

Carney just cannot seem to help himself. And Cronulla were in enough trouble with the supplements enquiry hanging over them, and also the coach and the captain taking pot-shots at each other.

Steve Noyce must be having dejavu being the CEO of Easts when Carney was sacked from there.
What a grub Carney is. I'm sick of hearing that the board should have done this or they should have done that. He's a 28 year old (supposed) man who has had more chances than necessary and needs to start taking a bit of personal responsibility.

And as for Andrew Johns coming to his defence .. ugh.

I guess it was coming. Wasn't it the wife that wanted to move to Sydney anyway? and after Alex McKinnon's injury it just made him even unhappier.

Great form by the NRL with the RiseforAlex round. Poor [censored]. I just hope he's not forgotten about when the headlines stop.

Rumour has it that Chris Lawrence is in talks to go there from the Tigers. frown I don't think he ever lived up to his potential but still I'll be sad to see him go.
You do have to wonder if Cronulla are going to change their colours soon!

There are more questions than answers in this whole sordid affair.

- How many other clubs are being considered?
- Did the players really not know about the illegality of the chemicals they were being fed?
- Did all the Cronulla players take the backdated 12-month suspension more as a three week 'holiday' than an admission of guilt?

It's like a Clayton's suspension ... the suspension you have when you're not having a suspension.
it's a bloody great big iceberg that we're only seeing the tip of, I think.

    1 Eastern Suburbs Roosters 24 16 8 0 2 615 385 230 36
