That's absolutely beautiful, MG, simple but effective smile Mum's been keeping busy crafting, enjoying making "MDF" bits and pieces smile

I belong to a craft forum as some of you know, the focus is on cardmaking. From time to time we send card to other members, perhaps on a birthday or as a swap or 'trail'. One lady I have become friends with refuses to give her birthday so I send her a card on the anniversary of her joining the forum. I have been making her card today, it is pretty big at 8.25" square.

Thank you all for your kind comments.

Sue, I love your cards and I don't think they are too fussy at all. Wish I had your knack with flowers.

My mother (Mommakat) lost one of her cats to cancer recently. Her name was Tiffany although she was also called Tinkerbelle. I made the following condolence card for her. The cat in the bottom right hand corner is Tiffany/Tinkerbelle. I tried to reflect her gorgeous colouring in the colours used in the card.

Aww So sorry to hear this . Give my condolences to Mommakat. It is awful to lose a beloved pet. It's a lovely card too.

Usually I photograph the cards I make, however, no matter how careful you are, the cards always look warped in the photo. So I tried scanning this one (with Maynooth's help) and it looks much better than the photographed version.

I scan flat ones but lumpy ones have to be photographed and as you say, they look warped but not to worry.

You have been making lovely cards, girls! Put me to shame as I made my first card of 2016 only today *shock, horror*!
Don't know where the time flies to these days, but there never seems to be enough of it.

I love that Toni, what a clever idea.

I have only made 23 of my Christmas cards so far this year.

I am so glad I have found some fellow card makers on this site! I have been making cards for a few years now, and will be happy to share some of my creations with you. Together with FunTrivia, crafting is one of the things that has helped me most in difficult times.

We would enjoy seeing some of your cards, either as a group of cards or one posted per day. smile

I need to get the hang of posting images here, as every forum works differently in this sense. I have a lot of photos on my computer, but it seems I cannot post them directly here.

The teapot is a wood veneer die cut I covered with patterned paper. Hope you like it! More to come in the next few days.

This is what I did! I had an account I hadn't used in years, but luckily was able to retrieve the password and access it. I'll upload more pics soon!
