I'm not entirely sure that my work fits here, as I did not sculpt this miniature, I only painted it. But the paint job came out so well that I had to find somewhere to brag! This is part of a miniature commission that I painted for a friend. The actual sculpt was done by the guys at Bombshell Miniatures, but before I got a hold of it, it was only gray plastic and bare metal.

Wow, Dragonkin, what a great job you did on that sculpture! Not easy at all! and as for the rest of you girls, you put me to shame with all your lovely work! Sue, love the pendant, very classy as always, SM that scarf looks divinely soft and snug! and Jane, very-belated happy birthday wishes to your little Prince, his card is gorgeous!

What a brilliant idea.
By the way Toni, the craft bag that you made for me is in constant use, it is currently being used for my beading and is much admired at the craft club.

Here's something I've been playing with. It's a wool felted sheep. You'd think after twenty years of living here I would have worked out something to do with the raw wool by now. Apparently not! I needed a crafty backpacker to come up with the ideas ... and then I needed her to leave the house for school holidays so I could steal her ideas It's done by just pricking a needle into the wool thousands of times. The wool is straight from a sheep and just picked clean from the burr, grass and so on. I'm not sure how to do the nose and mouth though so will have to work that out and see how it goes.

Awwww he's totally cute! Highly appropriately, I think he looks like Shaun the Sheep from the "Wallace and Gromit" film :-) xxx

He is gorgeous. You could do with a felting machine, they look to be great fun and you can prick thousands of times in a minute! You could sell them.

Hey yes, you could make all the animals at Copago. I can see it now. New Childrens' TV show. Life at Copago. Everyday adventures of sheep, goats and a very fat dog. Episode 1 Chip the Biggest Loser. Wow you'd make a bomb Jill! PS there could even be a walk on part for Martin's gross fly.

Either make lots of pandas, or experiment with food colourings. This site may help- http://www.pburch.net/dyeing/FAQ/wool.shtmlHave fun!

Hi all. Sue, unfortunately (sp?) my cousin's husband would not let me take anything from the house after she died. But I do know one thing, she was so excited that she received the card from you. It has been two years now, and I still miss her. Of all the things she had, I would have liked to have that card. I thank you so much for bringing her moments of joy in her dying days. She often talked about that card. You will never know how many hearts you have touched. You truly are one of the best people I have ever had the privledge to know. I wish I could meet you in person.
Hugs, Donette

Who was your cousin Donette? If you send me a PM with your full name and address perhaps one day you might get a card, it would be 'some time' rather than immediate though as I have a busy few weeks coming up.
