Tickets to the first Super Bowl, played on Jan. 15, 1967, cost $6. It was the only Super Bowl that was not a sellout. There were 61,946 in attendance at the 94,000-seat L.A. Coliseum, and the game was blacked-out locally. (To put it in perspective, USC hosted Notre Dame just six weeks earlier and drew 88,520.)
