Last week PaulE had three other tipsters on the top rung with him, but he shook them all off to lead solo again. He and gtho4 both scored 6/7.

All the home teams won, which is a bit unusual.

There was a drawn game between Salford and Rovers, therefore there were no perfect scores. The best effort was by dg_dave who picked all the other results. As a consequence, he moved into a share of third.

wwe84 got his six-pack of spoons, and almost everyone else scored 5/7, so there were only minor changes from the previous week.

A VERY unusual result, indeed. All the teams in the top half of the ladder played the teams in the bottom half, and all results went to plan. Showing what brilliant tippers we are, we all followed form and picked exactly the same picks. Guess what? We ALL scored a HoF AND a bonus point.

One game was played earlier than the draw showed, but by an executive decision, those that missed this game were given the benefit of the doubt. (Yes, Virginia, there IS a Santa Claus.)

I am fairly confident that this is the first totally perfect result thread that I have ever written, and will probably be the last, too.

After last week's stunning numbers, this round is a bit of an anti-climax. Widnes and Catalan played a draw, and Warrington upset Leeds. Huddersfield beat Wigan and wwe84 was the only one to tip it. He also scored the only HoF, with 5/7.

There were several spoons awarded, but overall, there was only minimal changes in the ladder.

There were four scores over 40 this week, which is unusual, with the most stunning result being the drubbing of St Helens by Catalan- nobody saw that one coming! Huddersfield just got home over Leeds, and again, there were no successful tipsters for that one. The remaining five games were much easier to tip.

We had five HoF-ers who picked 5/7 and two spooners.

There is still a three-way share of the lead, but one of last weeks trio dropped off the pace. PaulE got his first spoon of the season and completed that column on the table. N-Bomb a better HoF-to-spoon ratio (+9) than dg_dave (+8). Howie72 (+6) is the third one in the mix and definitely cannot be discounted. PaulE, (+9), also has a great HoF/spoon ratio and is only one point behind.

Dizart and srini701 both managed HoF awards, and there was a truckload of spoons handed out.

The big news of the round was bottom side London's win over Leeds. It was their first win of the season, and against a team that will figure heavily in the finals. Rovers and Wigan played a draw, the eighth of the season, and most of the other games went to script.

It seems that nobody wants to win this comp! N-Bomb had a bad week, with only 2/7 and fell to third. dg_dave forfeited in sympathy and joined him. PaulE has done a Lazarus with 5/7 and jumped back into the lead, after his mini-collapse last week. He overtook Howie72 too, relegating him to second. Anybody care to frame a market on who will be last man standing?

Yet another draw stifled any slim hope of a bonus point, as did Widnes' shock win over Wigan. Next round will be very interesting!

PaulE tripped over the finishing line, but managed to win on a countback. His 11/1 hof/ws differential tops second placed Howie72, who had 7/1. Another countback was required to find the third place winner; dg_dave (11/3) was equal to N-Bomb's 10/2, but he won on total HoF's. Further countbacks were required to separate 5th, 8th and 12th spots.

BxBarracuda, illiniman14 and wwe84 all tipped 5/7 in a wide-open round, whilst paper_aero and gtho4 both scored a single point.

That was the last round of a quite interesting comp. Congrats to the winners, and hard cheese to the losers.
