There were only six games this round, but nobody got more than five of them. ozfei, George95 and wwe84 all moved up several spots. BxBarracuda could only manage 1/6 in a rather tough week.
Geelong went down to Fremantle and Melbourne beat Richmond. Adelaide toppled Collingwood, and Sydney are starting to flex their muscles.

Our first bonus point for the season goes to srini701. He jumped six spots and almost swapped spots with spooner, ozzz2002.
MikeMaster's mob, Richmond, went on a rampage against GWS and Collingwood held off West Coast. Port Adelaide beat Hawthorn in the top-of-the-table clash, and a terrific match to watch, too- footy at its best! Gold Coast had a good win against the Dogs and are now third on the ladder. Two years ago, they were wooden spooners. Carlton pipped Adelaide in a mini upset

Last week GWS got belted- this week, they almost beat Hawthorn. Brisbane won their game against Carlton by a skinny margin and St Kilda predictably got beaten by Collingwood (BOO!). West Coast lost to the Kangaroos by a fair margin, too. However, the game that has everyone talking was the margin in the Sydney v Geelong game; the margin of 110 points was totally off the radar.
22crows only missed the North Melbourne win and moved to within a point of the lead. Ozfei, chogobad and BxBarracuda scored 5/9 and slipped slightly.

Three major upsets this round. Greater Western Sydney had their best away win ever, topping Brisbane by more than seven goals. ozfei was the only one to tip this result. The Bulldogs did everyone a favour and beat Collingwood, and wwe84 was the brave tipster that scored a point. gtho4 and ozfei both tipped the Demons to beat the Dons, with the result going to the wire.
Last week, six points was enough to win a Spoon. This week, it won HoF awards for seven players.

Hawthorn and Port Adelaide were joint leaders before this weekend, but both lost. Only ASA was brave enough to score a point out of either game. Six of the remaining seven games were tipped by all of us, or all bar one.
More than half the field scored a HoF, and there was very little movement, with just a couple of changes nearer the bottom of the list. BxBarracuda is yet to pick up a HoF, but I have no doubt that it will happen soon!

Firstly, a big welcome to ElusiveDream who has just joined us.
Yet another veritable plethora of HoF awards! Seven players managed to score seven correct.
Richmond scored the biggest upset this week, beating Port Adelaide by 20 points. BxBarracuda picked that one, but our resident Tiger supporter did not. The Bulldogs also won against the new glamour team, Gold Coast, and Essendon thumped Collingwood (I enjoyed typing that! ).

There were only three games that were picked by the majority of us, and all three were in the balance, with the biggest margin being a skinny seven points. My mob, St Kilda, had a huge upset win against Freo- well picked, Sypher! Carlton beat the Roos and the Tigers beat West Coast, in Perth. In what was possibly a Grand Final preview, Hawthorn won a close one against the Swans.
BxBarracuda managed to salvage a massive seven correct from all the wreckage, and is rewarded with his first HoF award. MikeMaster and paper_aero were not quite so lucky.

The top six and the bottom five did not change. The middle six did a bit of a shuffle, with wwe84 scoring a nice 8/9 and jumping up the ladder. He has hit his high point for the season

Howie72 picked up a HoF at just the right time and opened up a three-point break over 22crows who is grimly trying to defend her spot. There are several people vying for third place.
N-Bomb moved a bit closer to the top with his 8/9 and the other two top scorers, George95 and gtho4 both climbing a spot or two.

Brisbane thumped Collingwood. Nobody got that one, and Greater Western Sydney had a rare away win- only one person jagged that one. Fremantle surprised Hawthorn and Richmond are on the march. They now have seven wins in a row- the last time they did that was in 1995.
There were five HoF awards awarded, but 6/9 is not really anything to get excited about. 22crows picked a bad time to spoon it, she dropped down to equal third.

Most games followed the betting money giving us a collective success rate of 87%- extraordinary! Prior to this round, we had only gleaned three bonus points. This week saw FIVE handed out. Congrats to illiniman14, N-Bomb (who scored a HoF hat-trick), paper_aero, MikeMaster99 and Sypher.
Last week, the HoF was 6/9. This week only chogobad got that score, and won a spoon for his efforts. 22crows and wwe84 only got one wrong and both lost positions on the ladder.
Howie72 has seen his lead cut to one, with only one week to go.

The AFL has finished the home-and-away season and our comp has also finished. The winner is Howie72, who has shown the way since Round 6. He was never out of the top three spots. Second spot went to illiniman14 who has been in third spot for the last couple of months. He just pipped 22crows by a point- she suffered a major hit in Round 21 and had no time to recover.
N-Bomb's default cost him a podium spot and he finished fourth. MikeMaster99 flew home with a HoF and shared fifth place with srini701. ozfei shared the lead in the first round, but faded and finished equal seventh. None of the rest of the tipsters got higher than fourth place.
Congratulations to all the place-getters and thanks to everyone for a very interesting season.
