Ozzz2002 has taken the top rung this week, with his three bonus points. He has twice what the next tipper has, who was consequently the other one who picked up a bonus this week.
LeoDaVinci last week picked up a few as he had gone inactive. Howie72 picked up two weekly wins in the last four weeks, while dg_dave picked up two Spoons in the same timeframe.
Our season seems to be mired in the 50's, but with about all of the teams under .600 save for Oakland and the Angels (of which I wish both to lose ten in a row...or more!), and only two under .400, it makes it tougher to pick, unless those teams happen to be Colorado and Texas. The Rangers just got rid of too many and have had so many injuries, so that didn't help them. Don't know what Colorado's justification is.

Ozzz2002 wasn't content atop the leaderboard, so he's allowed Howie72 to pass him...four weekly wins in the last seven weeks helps that cause. BxBarracuda has been in freefall mode the last three weeks, taking three Spoons along the way.
We broke 60% as a group for only the thrid time, but with zero teams over .600 and only two under .400, it makes it much more balanced. Still looking for Colorado's reasoning why they are at the bottom of the National League...at least the Rangers can explain their slump...too many on the DL (last I knew, 13 players) and gave away several players in the previous offseason.
Who will reign supreme in this one? We have five weeks left until the finish post. Any of the top nine could still make the podium, as Dizart in ninth is only four behind srini701 in third.

Plus I also had the Chicago Cubs winning which would negate a bonus point for each of Ozzz and BxB. Sorry, just saw it has been corrected....thank you  However, in round 26 does 217 + 9 = 226 and not 224?

The MLB season has come to a close. Only one person did not hit 200, and that was Sypher, who dropped off the radar about 2/3 through the season.
Since there was only one week this year whereanyone scored 13, we will drop next year's comp to 12 for a near miss, so 12/15, 11/14, or 10/13.
Ozzz2002 decided to free fall this week, hoping for several upsets that didn't hit paydirt. He already had over 20 of the 57 bonus points given out. He also took his 12th Spoon, almost half of the weeks. No one else had more than five. Two players had six wins each, including our winner, who also went Spoonless...will have to look at 2013's to see when his last one was. Ozzz2002 and Dizart took over half the bonus points, while three of us scored none.
Congratulations to the three medalists, and commiserations to the rest of us. Illiniman14 took silver on a countback...five wins to three.
**A reminder: any inactive tippers will continue to receive default scores weekly. If they are in last place and 2nd last is several points ahead, they will automatically default to the 2nd last score.
Another reminder: games can be postponed due to precipitation, so there may not always be 15 games scored.
