oz downunder
latest odds from a couple of the leading bookies downunder:

9-4 .... Argentina, France equal favourites
11-2 .. Italy
6-1 .... Brazil
8-1 .... Spain
11-1 .. England, Germany and Portugal

as a colonial, I'd like to see England win, but at odds of 8s Spain looks better value at that price

I rather foolishly promised my husband that if England reached the final , I would buy him a ticket to Japan/Korea!! So 11/1 looks ok to me.

Best value there has to be Brazil at sixes...
I wouldn't take Spain at 12/1, as much as i rate them...
They always fluff it in the biggies...
Portugal and England are other perennial underachievers...
France i don't think are going to do it this time...
I'm looking forward to getting all my predictions proved 100% WRONG once again...
1998... I predicted Brazil couldn't lose
1994... I predicted Bulgaria would run away with it
1990... Italy were just too strong to lose...
See what i mean?
