I was talking to a friend of mine about tubs and planters and she said that a friend of hers, who does plants for exhibitions, told her that the secret to having a professional display was Bacopa. I'd never heard of it but after a quick google I went in search of some at the garden centre but of course it was far too early in the year. I looked, I waited, I fretted... and suddenly there it was, Bacopa cordata
. I phoned my friend that evening and said I'd bought some Bacopa and she owed me £82. "How much?" she shrieked. Well, £7 for the Bacopa and £75 for all the other things I bought while I was there. Garden centres... the sure way to drain someone's bank balance.
