So far, we've had 4 good games in the Brazil 2014 World Cup:
Brazil 3-1 Croatia
Although a wrongly given penalty in favor of Brazil affected the game and Japanese referee Nishimura, the game was a good one, Croatia played great, Brazil... not quite. However, it was a good one to kick off the Cup.
Mexico 1-0 Cameroon
As I said before, this game should've ended with 3 goals in favor of Mexico, as two were not given because of offsides that never existed. As a Mexican, I can say Mexico gave its best game in three years. And as for Cameroon, the team was very weak, easily defeated by Mexico. I do not see Cameroon at later stages, but Mexico could fight for a spot.
Spain 1-5 Netherlands
A rather surprising score for many (if not all). The World Champion was humilliated with mistakes from goalie Casillas and the Spanish defense. The Spanish goal was a penalty that, in my opinion, did not exist. Fortunately, it did not affect the final score. The Netherlands could achieve good results in this World Cup.
Chile 3-1 Australia
The first 15 minutes of the game were perfect for Chile, as they were already 2-0 ahead. However, overconfidence played against the South American team and Australia scored a goal. The game seemed dull from there, and the rest of it was quite boring. In aggregate, Chile scored the third goal and defined their victory.
Tomorrow, and for the rest of the World Cup, I will be giving live coverage of most games, as well as my opinion on them. Hopefully you'll enjoy it.
