I went out to water the garden and the earth moved. Well, maybe not the earth but one large pebble moved right across the other pebbles and landed in the corner, at which point it turned into a frog! Anyone want to come round to kiss it? grin

He is just gorgeous Copago. If I lived near you I'd dognap him in a heartbeat.

Take loads of photos, they grow up so fast and before you know it they aren't a pup any longer.

That pup is soooooo cute! smile Not fat, just pleasantly plump!

Watched the Canada Day fireworks from the end of my street tonight. I can see the municipal display from there without going amongst the crowds. 'Tis perfect.

One of my neighbours saw this one on my camera and said "Oh, it looks like a palm tree!"

Following on from my photo of the fountains in Bristol city centre last month, this is what
happens if some bright spark decides to squirt washing-up liquid into the water...

(I didn't do it!)

I would have done that if I'd had a chance when I was younger...

The view from the park yesterday

That's a great firework photo Liz and yes, it does look like a palm tree.

David - so would I!

I have a pink buddleia, and in late March, after I pruned it, it was about 2ft high. It obviously liked our wet and mild winter and the very warm spring and summer we have had, as it has gone mad this year.

Kids are the same the world over. We have a fountain on the main street leading into our suburb and every school holiday, our fountain suffers the same fate. In fact, I am sure I posted a similar photo here some years back.

Yeah, I'd would have been one with the detergent if I had thought about it ... shocked

The good thing about this pup is that it has made me get my camera out again. it had been a while.

Precious, who is very fond of puppies and thinks this one is adorable, has told me that it is time for a kitty picture too smile

Looks like we may need a referee to keep these cats and dogs in order so this pied stilt has volunteered, after having dinner at the Otipua Wetlands of course smile

Oh, Chip is so gorgeous, those big blue eyes!

Are you absolutely certain he likes living in Australia and wouldn't prefer it here with me and Susie. We're more than happy to offer him a home if he's like to move.

Liz, I see Precious is looking her normal lovely self, perhaps we could share Chip between UK and Canada

Howie, lovely bird picture as always. Reminds me a little of an oystercatcher

Now wait a minute. If Chip is going to be moving, he could move to the American southwest and be a Jeep dog. It's a pretty good gig! cool

In the garden centre the other day I came across some hardy nemesias so I decided to try a couple.

They are pretty!

A Chipless photo!

It's my son's birthday today and so at 4am we blew up 200 balloons and filled up a little hallway that comes from his bedroom with them and heaps of streamers. Was such fun listening to him and a mate staying over come out this morning laugh

And to freak you out if you've been around for a while ... Conor is now twelve. TWELVE! It's freaking me out!

After getting met at the Frankfurt Haupbahnoff and shown around central Frankfurt we took the scenic route to Zollhaus where I was staying. On the way we dropped by the Muhlen Museum, though it was after closing time there were a few things to look at outside.
