As for the two in question...Jason Kidd is certainly the better all around player. He's better than Iverson in virtually all aspects of the game. Iverson is clearly an explosive talent and a scoring machine...but these talents only get you so far in basketball. Kidd's court vision, rebounding and defensive abilities, and overall intelligence make him the superior player.

They both do their jobs extremely well. Looking at a complete team picture...I would have to side with Kidd. He has taken a team (NETS) that was unchanged except for him and coach Byron Scott and took them to the championship finals. Iverson is good, but he doesn't make the other players on his team rise to the occasion. If I were drafting, I would take Kidd, the point guard over Iverson the scorer.
