This tipping comp started way back in 2003. This year's is the 12th edition. During those 12 long dark years, waiting for The Might Whites to find some cash at the end of the rainbow, nine players have score a perfect 8/8 (the ninth was three weeks ago by ozzz2002).

. The first leg of the quarter-finals saw three winners and six wooden spoons .. paper_aero extends his lead out front TO 4 points, which is the biggest lead we've so far. The next 4 pts cover the five players running 2nd to 6th.
LeoDaVinci climbs to 7th place, which makes it back-to-back personal highs for the season.
wwe84 again scores bonus points x2 and is now in double digits. He must've been the only person outside Portugal who picked Bayern to be behind at half-time, and fail to win the first leg when the referee blew full-time (as did LeoDaVinci).

. Juventus are through and Real Madrid are out! There are now only three live picks for the winner of the tournament: PaulE & Sypher with Barcelona and BxBarracuda with Juventus.
Last week Howie72 scored his first win for the season. This week it's back-to-back weekly wins (plus a bonus pointing for a sol pick, again)and has now gone from 10th to 9th to 7th. George95 and N-Bomb are still looking for their first bonus pt.

. paper_aero is the winner! He went into the lead in Round 10 and from there spent 10 straight wks at the top of the pile. Three pts in arrears we had a triple dead-heat for 2nd place!
illiniman14 collected the silver on a countback. He had weekly wins vs. WS countback figures of +3 vs. +0 and +0 for PaulE and Dizart. PaulE collected the bronze medal as he had 3 weekly wins vs. one for Dizart.
PaulE finished the season with a perfect 8/8 and came out of nowhere to jump up onto the podium. Three rounds back he was 8 pts off a podium spot in 8th place! He finished with two weekly wins in the last 3 rounds and a new personal high. On the other hand, srini701 finished with a new personal low .. gtho4 collected his first wooden spoon and fell off the podium.
Best weekly wins was by the winner paper_aero with five. Best spoon count was eight by wwe84, who was the only player to reach double digits for bonus points.
Barcelona beat Juventus to win their 4th European CL title over the last 10 years (2006, 2009, 2011 and 2015). Last month they were crowned champions of Spain and then won the Spanish Cup, and yesterday they were crowned champions of Europe to complete The Treble: domestic champions, domestic cup winners & European champions, aka domestic Double plus European champions.
After yesterday's triumph, they became the first team to win The Treble twice. There have been eight Trebles since the first European Cup was won in 1956 (see second column below). This year's final was the 60th: eight teams have won 42 of those 60 titles (first column below).
