The A3 at the junction of Kingston Vale. I think this used to be a roundabout but not for a long time.

I did my homework so I actually know what this plant is! According to the tag, it's an Alyogyne, commonly known as a Lilac Hibiscus. However, it is not a hibiscus - although it was thought previously to be a hibiscus, and both plants do belong to the Mallow family. It is native to our area (the south-west of Western Australia). This one is growing in the garden alongside our patio/outdoor kitchen.

Mahurangi Island (Goat island) & Okorotere Island, about 1100m off the coast of Hahei on the Cormandel Peninsula. Mahurangi Island is just over 2.8km long and is at one corner of the Te Whanganui-A-Hei (Cathedral Cove) Marine Reserve.

Nearing the end of the walk through the Otipua Wetlands, the bridge over Saltwater Creek at State Highway 1.

St Mary Redcliffe parish church in Bristol, the steeple catching
the last rays of the sun quite nicely I thought. The church was
described by Queen Elizabeth I as 'The goodliest, fairest and
most famous parish church in England'. Who am I to argue with
that?

They seem to have been fixing up the ponds on Hampstead Heath unless we haven't been able to walk there before, but either way I haven't seen them directly till now.

A little park and playground area near our subdivision. It must kill the developers to have to put in areas like this - they could squeeze four more houses in here.
