Prince William and Kate are expecting their second child. Apparently she's suffering from the extreme morning sickness this time around again.

Poor thing. Wouldn't wish that on anyone. I would imagine she has access to good drugs though lol.

But isn't it amazing how fast time flies by? In that, the firstborn has grown SO much (even though many in the world still think of him as a newborn lol) and now there's going to be another?

I feel the same way when I see my friends/family children quickly growing up (which is, in a word: OLD lol).

I struggled with infertility so for me, it stings a bit seeing her get pregnant after less than a year... It gives me a little bit of shadenfreund (re: her morning sickness).

Luckily I neither suffered from any form or morning sickness and I never had any problems getting pregnant. My first two were born 11 months apart. However, I think she's very fortunate to have lots of reliable help on hand because looking after two babies is going to be a lot of work for a couple of years, no matter how much extra help you have and no matter how much money you can throw at the situation. I think the luckiest person here is the young prince George, who might actually have gain a best friend in his younger sibling!

That will be the heir and a spare so her duty done, beyond that if she has any further children they will be for her. I heard it said, although don't obviously know, that the Queen said that of her children, Andrew and Edward were for her.
