A new modification in the near future will rank quizzes higher that include "extra info" added to questions.

Just ANY extra info, Terry? This might backfire, as some people just put in editorial comments in that field - instead of actual extra info that helps the quiz taker learn something more about the subject. I don't care to read a lot of editorial comments by the creator when I take a quiz. Teach me something new - but don't tell me "He's my favorite actor" or something like that in that field.

I agree with Linda1. People will just start putting in things that are not really pertinent so that their quiz rates higher. It will also make editing a longer process. I'm all for a bit of relevant information to add interest, but don't want to see it overdone.

I'm with Minch and Linda1. 1/2 of the quizzes in Sports and Music contain statements of these. If you can get rid of those statements I think it would be a wonderful idea.

Since this information has taken on a new significance, isn't it our jobs as editors to make sure that the quizzes we're responsible for contain only factual information is this field?

I try to put all factual information in there, but once in a while I will put in a comment, just so the players know me a little better. (Or maybe it's just me wanting to know more about the other quiz makers - I'm just so curious!)

Yo...ladymacb29...that's a great idea to let some of your personality come thru. I think that gives a quiz some 'flavor' and distinction. Plus, the quiz becomes more than just fields to be entered.
I know I've tried to use my sense of humor on occasion (unusual tho it may be); I'm waiting for the men with the canvas sport coat with the wrap-around sleeves to pay a visit!
I also think it emphasises the 'family environment' we hope to maintain.

IMHO, that site is lacking almost everything that I love about funtrivia. You don't meet anyone and you don't know who submitted what questions. In short, it's too sterile for me!
