Outside of bouncing around, what has been going on? Our leader has been constant for awhile, and he is one of three to have double digit bonus points...the other two are far down the table. LeoDaVinci has been hit and miss lol...his Lakers seem to miss a lot more than they hit.

There have been some interesting selections over the last few weeks...Philadelphia winning at home to the top seeded Hawks? Minnesota beating a top tier team in Portland? The Knicks knocking off Toronto at home...with the worst record in the league? San Antonio and their stingy defense losing to Utah?

With only six weeks to go, who will take the minor placings? If it weren't for BxBarracuda's default last week, he'd definitely be skipping to the finish line. Paper_aero fills in a column with his Spoon at 8/15, leaving only BxBarracuda and gtho4 Spoonless. Sypher can't catch a break, as he and LeoDaVinci are the only ones without a weekly win. It is still a seven person race for two podium places.

In the NBA standings, is it a possibility that a cellar dwelling team will make the playoffs? New Orleans is dead last in their division, at 35-29, and are tied for 8th with Oklahoma City...who will come out on top there?

The penultimate week sees several in reach for the podium, especially after gtho4 lights it up with 12 this week. Only the top six can feasibly reach 250, but everyone except the bottom two have reached 200+, and all but those same two have a shot at 225+. We shall see what happens after the final buzzer.

Wwe84 takes an additional three to even himself out at 20 bonus points for the season; of the 90 handed out, he has about 22% by himself. If you add Sypher and ozzz2002 to the equation, that is just under half (43/90).

The NBA season has come to a close. N-Bomb came out of nowhere to leap past BxBarracuda and George95 for the gold medal, although three weekly wins in the last four weeks will do that.

A very good week overall, with us nailing 3/4 of our tips! N-Bomb and srini701 both nab 14/15, each missing a different game (srini missed New Orleans and N-Bomb missed Boston).

Will have to see if gtho4 took a Spoon last season...if not, his streak has pushed to 50 weeks or more. Sypher wants his streak to end...as he did not take a single weekly win.

Tale of a few games...Denver and Golden State score 125+ in 48 minutes, while neither Washington or Indianapolis could score 100 in 58! Oklahoma City scored over 100 in a mere 36 minutes in their game, en route to the highest point total of the week (not of the season, as Dallas beat Denver a few games back 144-143 in 2OT).

Oklahoma City and New Orleans both were fighting for a playoff spot...going in, both teams were 44-37, however, Oklahoma City was second in their division, and New Orleans was the cellar dweller in theirs. New Orleans had a daunting task of the Spurs and their 11 game winning streak, while Oklahoma City had an easy Timberwolves squad...most folks were going Oklahoma City to make and New Orleans to miss...didn't happen, and for only the third time in the last 30 years, all of the teams from one division are in the playoffs. If OKC were in the Eastern Conference, they would have been a 6 seed.

Many games were moot, including one that pitted two playoff teams together...Dallas and Portland. Win or lose, Dallas was going in as the 7 seed, and Portland the 4. Both team's only question was..who are we playing in Round 1??? Portland gets the Grizzlies in Memphis (home court is based on record, not seed), and Dallas has a short trip to Houston, the winners of the Southwest Division.
