Thanks for restoring the ability to see how many messages we have!

Since I know that you are working on the mail system, a request...

The current note-deleting system is just too kludgy, especially if you have dozens of quizzes and receive lots of mail. For example, I have over 80 quizzes, plus I'm an editor. I have well over 100 messages in my mailbox. When I have time to spend on FunTrivia, I do my editig chores first, and maybe play a game or two now and then :> ) I just don't have the time to click on 80 different links to remove that mail. I understand that this was done originally to make sure that people read and responded to corrections, but it looks like it has other, unwanted effects.

Also, since the messages in our mailboxes are not in chronological order anymore, I have to look through six pages of notes to find one new piece of mail.

How easy would it be to write some sort of expire function into comments, compliments and suggestions (I agree that corrections should not expire)?

Or would it be possible to make the "clear all notes" link on the mailbox page also remove suggestions and compliments, not just comments?

Or is there some other method that you can develop to remove mail that isn't as labor-intensive as the present one?

LOL CrisW- I just edited my Hurricanes quiz from way back when. I thought it was a recent correction notice, but when I looked at it, it was way back in August! LOL!

terry, is there any way you can get those messages back in chronological order.

Terry, would it be possible to copy the code from how the Private Mail mailboxes are organized. The method there of allowing individual notes to be deleted (on a note-by-note basis) all on one screen seems very easy to understand and use.

I was just wondering if the mailboxes are even working right now, I haven't received any mail since the number of messages fix. I've sent out quite a few correction and compliment notes and have had no replies when normally I do this the quizmaker responds quite quickly?

I'm not sure it's accurate either. I did get some messages, but my box has been at "120 messages" for several days now.
