I was delighted that Birdman won the day, it was definitely my favourite of those I'd seen, and I managed to see most but didn't see Boyhood. I thought Selma was underacknowledged (good film) so well done to the song for winning - good choice.
A few people were still moaning that Gone Girl had been snubbed but in my opinion it wasn't. Gone Girl was fun to watch, and would have been award winning TV for sure, but wasn't particularly Oscar worthy.
I think they got the Oscars pretty much spot on this year.

Those awards look really inconsistent. No wtf moment for Gone Girl? What is the point of including Gone Girl in the nominations at all if the viewers didn't have any wtf moments?
And how could they leave Ed Norton out of "best shirtless performance"? It is blatant middle-agism. It is like the viewers/voters are, like, teenagers, or something? Man.

Well, I saw "Zac Efron" up there in "Best Shirtless" and had a bit of senior moment, when I thought they were talking about Zach Galifianakis, so that was fun....
