H for Herstmonceux Castle in Sussex. It was one of the first red-brick buildings in England when it was built in the mid-fifteenth century, but it fell into ruin; the present castle is an excellent 20th-century restoration. It's used nowadays as a campus by a consortium of Canadian universities; hence the Canadian flag that you can see flying on the left.
