Last night the Australian version of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here debut on Channel 10 this was the first time I ever watched this show haven't watched the British version & i'm up in the air weather to watch tonight cause this show didn't appeal to me last night.


After all the hype Channel 10 got this celebrities to be in the show

I watched to see what their definition of an iconic cricketer was I only knew who three of the others were ... Marcia, Chrissie Swan and Leisel Jones .. oh hang on Andrew Daddo too .. but I wouldn't have recognised him.

I might watch again. Might. Only because they might have someone else getting hit in the face with offal.

I've never heard of Joel Creasey or Tyson Mayr

And when one of clues said a ex kids entertainer from Hi-5 I was expecting one of the original cast members I've never heard of Lauren before


As for the cricket clue I was expecting Andrew Symonds or Matthew Hayden

After last night's episode it's odds on that Maureen McCormick will be the first one to go I don't think she can handle the environment she's in

Maybe. She's been on at least two "Celeberity" reality shows in the US in recent years. She knew what she was getting into.

Yeah ... she's not doing too bad really. She talks herself down and looks like she's ready to go and is sooooo OTT but she's currently eating fly pulpae so really, she's trying.

I'm so glad I wasn't eating when Maureen & Merv were eating all that stuff, I'm curious to see what's next for Maureen after Australia voted for her again to take the tucker trial

I am addicted to the British version which normally shows at the end of the year. The majority of celebs are 'b' rate, either looking to reinstate or further their career. I love all the tasks, watching their faces when they eat witchety grubs, or getting slimed with all sorts of critters. You wouldn't get me doing it for no amount of money. I will stick with Australian Masterchef thanks very much

Last night's episode proved one thing Maureen McCormick is tough as hell while Laura Dundovic is nothing more than a pampered princess after she refuse to do the tucker trial costing her team food while Maureen McCormick did the whole tucker trial herself after Laura refuse

She was on Celebrity Fwt Camp or weight loss or whatever the title was. She was also on a country music channel's show "make me a star" show. I don't know the name of it but that's what it was about.

Ahhh, I reckon Merv was on a weight loss show at some stage too. Maureen must have done a better job than he did. Missed it last night .. Wednesday is bingo night after all.

Merv was on Celebrity Overhaul on Channel 9 I think 9 or 10 years ago

Don't remember that one .. I was thinking about one a few years ago where a celebrity was teamed up with a "normal" person. .... just googled ... it was called Excess baggage. And it wasn't even Merv that was on it (it was Dipper DiPierdomenico)

Last night it was Barry Hall's turn to do the tucker trial this time he had to survive 10 minutes being buried alive in a ditch with the door close & rats being poured into the ditch at the 5 minute mark water started to pour into the hole with rats climbing to the top of Barry's body but Barry Hall survived 10 minutes & gain 10 stars for his effort & food for the celebrities as Barry emerged from the hole he had blood on his face from rats scratching him.

After seeing how much the include in the recap on Friday night .. and it seemed that it was replayed more than once on the weekend I don't think I'm gong to waste any more time on it nightly. I know it's bad TV buy I'm getting sucked in.

I must admit to watching the British one, and as has been said, most are people that are b or even h list. They have resorted to having some Americans to make up the numbers, for goodness sakes, we had someone who was an ex Playboy Mansion inmate on the last series.

Last night on I'm A Celebrity they sent two intruders in The Bachelor from season 1 of the Australian version Tim & Bachelor winner Anna went in but before they did Tim & Anna had to do a tucker trial to earn 11 meals for their new campmates they had to get 11 stars from the box with 30 snakes inside it Tim & Anna got all 11 stars & won the meals

So this Sunday is a double eviction when 2 people get voted out 2 new intruders go in they are Julie Goodwin & Andrew Flintoff

Tim Robards & Laura Dundovic were evicted last night as part of a double eviction but there are 2 new intruders coming in tonight with ex English cricket captain Andrew Flintoff & Masterchef Australia original winner Julie Goodwin

How can people not know who Andrew Flintoff is?
Although I guess he wouldn't know who an obscure Australian comedian is or a ex children's group performer is either.

Or who the male model was

Last night's Tucker trial almost broke Merv Hughes


In order to get 11 stars he had to put his head up 6 boxes & he did it challenge & earned the camp 11 meals


Box 1-Rats
Box 2-20,000 Ants
Box 3-Grasshoppers
Box 4-Hundreds of hissing Madagascar cockroachers
Box 5-13 Orb Spiders
Box 6-12 Snakes (including 1 that has shed it's skin & aggressive)

As long as those boxes didn't contain the ingredients for dinner ....
