Outside of changing things in my own life, things have changed atop the leaderboard...Howie72 moves to the top spot solo after Dizart's Spoon dropped him back. Gtho4 is breathing a huge sigh of relief as he is the only one this season without a Spoon to his credit.
It seems dg_dave is doing a yo-yo...weekly win, then Spoon, then weekly win again. Will he Spoon it again next week?
Everyone had faith in Toronto beating Detroit, and while I bet no one expected the scoreline that happened...15-1? The Jays feasted on some Tigers...but isn't that *normally* the other way around? I thought cats ate birds, not birds eating cats! 
The two best records in baseball, and two didn't have faith..or were they hoping for a couple of upsets? The Royals and Cardinals both won on the road...and are the only teams with 80 wins on the season. Two also went against the Yankees here, but had it been Sunday's game...where the Yankees only managed 20 runs in Atlanta...not quite as many as Boston scored on Seattle at Fenway a week or two ago (22 - Seattle scored ten in that game and lost!)
What was ozzz2002 thinking to pick Miami, who is on a skid, to lose to the Nats, who is holding about .500? I could ask the four who picked against the Rangers as well...Texas has always had good luck against the O's in Texas. A few years back, they scored 30 on Baltimore...in one nine inning game!

Four weeks left in our comp and the podium is still up for grabs, thanks in part to ozzz2002's FOUR bonus points this week. He had his crystal ball working overtime, and all of them paid off...this Rangers fan is thankful for one of his bonus points...Minnesota beating Houston to get the Rangers to within two in their division, although Minnesota is only 1½ back for that second wild card. Dizart joined him for one game, jagging the Tigers to beat Cleveland at home.
Paper_aero doesn't seem to like to pick upsets, as he is the only one without a bonus point, and gtho4 keeps his Spoonless train going. Everyone except the bottom three have at least two weekly wins, with George95 picking up his second this week.
Wwe84 took the hardest fall taking the Spoon this week, although his fall was only three places, from third to sixth. He's still in the running for a minor placing.

Ozzz2002 continues his bonus train, taking half of the points on the week...he knew that Texas would lose at home to the lowly A's, as did LeoDaVinci with his first set of tips (he tipped twice). Although, on the flip side, ozzz2002 didn't get the memo that MadBum was pitching, and if it weren't for one player, he recorded 27 outs on 28 batters. Melvin Upton is rejoicing and revelling because he broke up MadBum's perfecto with 2 outs in the 8th inning.
Just three weeks left until the final out is recorded on the season...will paper_aero strike into the podium? He trails 3rd by four points.
The playoff picture for two divisions is coming into focus...both in the National League. The Mets lead the Nats by 9½, and the Dodgers lead by 7½ with about 20 games to go...

The MLB season has come to a close, and our winner is none other than ozzz2002! He started equal last, then zoomed up the table, and held in the top five after week 3. He needed all 28 bonus points he got too...lol.
Paper_aero and gtho4 both had zeros for the season...but gtho4's counts big...he's gone two seasons without a Spoon. That will carry into the 2016 season.
Dizart took silver on a countback (4 wins to paper_aero's 3).
Don't know what happened to Sypher after Week 2 or BxBarracuda midway through...
