For some reason I cannot log on to quizzyland. I don't know why, but it recognizes me as a user, but rejects my password. Has this happened to anyone before? If you're an editor PLEASE HELP!

Thanks

This just happened to me about 1 1/2 months ago. I accidently logged out and then a week later remembered my password and then I was able to play quizzes and check my records again, under mirkmerk16. Do you have any idea what your Quizzyland password might be, esprit?

According to the editor in the category that reviewed one of your quizzes, there was a response to a message that involved profanity. I'm not clear on the exact details regarding the two messages. Hopefully, the editor will be in shortly to give a more complete explanation.

As I don't know the particulars in this case, I can't comment too much about why the account was deleted. As I said, the editor (or, perhaps Gunslinger knows more about this case) can answer more completely.

But, this is a good time to just reiterate to ALL quizmakers AND quiztakers that profanity and/or rudeness is not tolerated in Quizzyland. This site is one that is seen by people of all ages and nationalities. Because of the nature of the site, there are rules that are enforced.

Editors will send out a warning message before an account is deleted. However, be aware that Quizzyland accounts have been (and will be in the future) deleted due to inappropriate behavior.

While I appreciate your responses and comments, for my own record, I insist that I have NEVER used profanity anywhere associated with quizzyland or anywhere else. This is clearly a mistake, and I'm sure will be corrected as soon as someone qualified looks into it. Looking into my messages will prove that.

Also, I was never contacted regarding the termination of my account. I am convinced that this is simply a matter of my password somehow getting messed up. There's no othe explanation.

Still, if anyone else has a solution, please let me know. I would love to get back to my little quizzyland anonymous life as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, you did use profanity when you responded to a correction notice I sent you.

I received a message from Esprit15d on January 2, 2002. In the message you stated that you edit for a living, and that you would never be as rude as I was. You also stated that just because I didn't like your opinions in the interesting information section of the quiz, that it didn't matter what I thought. You then stated that just to keep me happy that

quote:
I fixed my quiz A******!

I am never rude to anyone on this site, and I go out of my way to help quiz makers. When I received this message I went to the administration.

Does this ring a bell?
