There have been some times on fill-in-the-blank questions where I have gotten a "Correct" response when I have not even put an answer in the box. Just to let you know if there's any problems with that that you might need to know about.

That happens once in while. It has to do with the database. Don't worry about it because when it happens at least you don't score a zero! [Big Grin]

I think it only happens when the quiz uses "fill in the blanks" answers. In that case the maker puts the correct answer in a box himself. There are several boxes that can be used (to allow for instance some spellingmistakes). When the maker has activated a box without putting something in it, there is a " " in the box.

When you take the quiz, and you leave an answer blank, it is also considered to be a " ".

That's my theory, anyway... [Big Grin]

i don't know if this info will help, maybe it's the same as the info given by Wimm.

you know when u r creating a quiz and you click the FITB icon, you then get about 6 boxes to fill in acceptable answers.

on one of my FITB questions, i once left a space in one of the boxes by mistake when i had erased an option answer. as such, whenever somebody did not answer that question, they always got 10 points for it, because i had forgotten to erase that space.

once i went in to the edit mode and erased the space, this corrected this problem. i'm not sure if i have explained this well, but i hope it makes sense and maybe will provide u with a potential answer to ur query Boyscout3.
