Can anyone point me to the following Budweiser three frogs ad?
Budweiser wanted to replace the three frogs with three lizards (with independently moveable eyes) and used this ad to make the transition. The three lizards are watching the three frogs on lily pads in a pond croaking the iconic line “Bud--weis--er”. In the background is a pond-side bar with one end of the neon sign “Budweiser” broken. The sign is dangling at a 45 degree angle over the pond. One of the lizards says (in a great Brooklyn accent) something like, “Whoa! I’m no electrician, but that looks dangerous.” The sign then falls in the water and the three frogs are killed.
I remember seeing this ad several times on TV, but can’t find it on the internet. Can anyone point me to it?
