This may be something that will work itself out, but today whenever I click the 'Members' link at the top of a page (eg from Newest Games)I get a message telling me to update my bookmarks to the new address. It happened from a bottom of page link too, "Back To Quizzyland Main" from a scores page. I'd gladly update my bookmarks, but I wasn't using a bookmark... Perhaps the links need updating?

I do see the link now, but the quizzes are listed alphabetically. Can you choose to list them by rank like before? (I'm using Netscape.)

Thanks, Terry. It works fine now from the top of page 'Members' link, but the 'Back to Quizzyland Main' from scores page still wants me to update my bookmarks. This was just a couple of minutes ago.
By the way, I love all the changes! The quizzes look great and are even more of a joy to play than they were before.

I don't know if you are working on this or not, but I can't read the messages I have received. On the members screen below the 'check mailbox' link it says 'mailbox temporarily unavailable'. Is this because of the new look or is it just me?

A glitch: When I tried to delete a quiz that I didn't want to create, it said I didn't have the permission to.

Second thing I've noticed- This may be intentional, and it probably is, but when I click on a category, it takes me to the top 50 quizzes, and I can't find a link to everything else.

One thing I did notice though - when I clicked on my own profile my private e-mail address was given (with "remove me first inserted"). I have now removed it again myself, but perhaps members might not notice and may unwittingly have their real e-mail address on display.

Hello, I've found a possible solution for Bullymom's problem, I'm assuming it's in the new format. It happened to me about twenty million times too! The new format requires you check the multiple choice or fill in the blank thing because if you do as I did, fill in an answer and leave the last step for later, it won't save it.
I must have done it twenty times!
Guess I can be taught, huh?
So check that you've checked the multiple choice one instead of the FITB one for your question, then it should save properly.

I've noticed this occurring when I enter categories from the portal page and the Members area. The listings only show the top 50 quizzes- this option is selected under "Special Lists" when I click a category, but there's no option to show all quizzes.

Two suggestion in forums:

1. Eliminate the moving figures beside some ID names when posting in the forums. That movement just inches from where your eyes are looking when trying to read interferes with your concentration of the post.

2. Use different type fonts for the post itself and the cute signature sayings many members have selected. That would make it easier to identify the meat in the post. (like the one Ladymacb29 has in this thread.)

I think you posted in the wrong forum, this one is on Quizzyland... But anyway, you can change your signature fonts yourself, by using UBB code to make it italic or bold. Of course that would require everybody to go do that, so maybe the ------------------------------- from the old looks could be brought back?

Yeah, all you have to do it italicise your quote and it should show up like mine... I didn't like all the --------------- and didn't know if they'd work so I just did this.

I've had some problems with "Next 50" type buttons at the bottoms of lists. This has happened in the "Who's Online" list and my own list of quizzes when I'm within the members area. Has this been a problem for others? Thanks, Robyn

I've just made my first quiz since the changes--and I love the way the true or false is taken care of for us. I really appreciate how easy it is to Save, too. The quizzes have a nice, sharp look. Everything was easier. Thank you, Terry.

I love the new look, the new layout, everything. The only problem I have is the quizzes I've played are no longer marked so when I go to play a quiz, it takes me all the way to the quiz before it informs me that I have already played the quiz. I no longer know which quizzes I have played!

I don't want to sound, well, negative or anything and especially not now because first, I like the new layout (once I found my way around) and second, because I find now that threads can be rated and even users. Shoot, I only got 4 stars! Bruyere only has 4 stars!! Jazz has only 4 stars!!!! Bloomsby has 5 stars because I like Bloomsby so I gave him the big 5. I will find LInda C007 somewhere and give her 5 stars too because her quizzes are just great and her taste in films is impeccable. Everyone I don't like (not that there is anyone...right now...) will get one star! Ha! Let them cry themselves to sleep on that one!

All this is really about is I am wondering how much rating is really necessary.
