Is it true that each quiz, which has been played 50 times, gets a ranking?

I ask this, because I have four quizzes (three of which are less than a month old) that have been played 50 or more times. I notice that the Top 50 easy, average or hard quizzes of each category are updated twice a week.

I know it would be hard work to update individual quiz rankings, but could someone tell me how often they'll be updated?

Terry updates the rankings on an irregular basis (the machine nearly eats itself when it's done) - every couple of months or so. At the moment he's rebuilding Quizzyland, so it might become a more regular event.

[ back in 2000 and early 2001 it was done daily, around 9pm Sydney time .. there was no point logging on, the site ground to a halt ]

I am happy to note that the rankings have just been updated, but I thought they were based on being played 50 times. One of mine has only been played 38 times and scored a ranking (not complaining, mind you, just curious).

And I have 2 of my 10 quizzes with sunglasses!! woohoo!

Rankings were done yesterday I rewrote the algorithm to be a whole lot faster, so ranking updates will be done in the future at least once a week -- probably twice.

The number of times played has been reduced to 30 games. A quiz must also have been online at least 2 weeks to get ranked.
