The Rules
1. Everyone will pick 5 golfers.

2. We may have a maximum of 2 golfers from the top 10 of world rankings as of August 3, 2015 in our fivesomes. The current top 10 is:

*- UPDATE: McIlroy will play following his injury before the British Open.

3. The lowest 4 total scores from each tipper’s fivesome will be added together to make the final score, and the lowest total score wins.

4. If one of your golfers fails to make the cut, his score from the first two rounds will be doubled to account for his final two rounds.
-A golfer must finish the first two rounds in order for his score to be counted towards the total

Tiebreaker
The lowest score from each tipper’s fifth golfer will serve as the tiebreaker. Should that be the same, it will go to the fourth-highest score and so on.

George95 notches his 2nd PGA Championship victory in 3 years, edging out a very tight field. Congratulations! George95, along with several others, picked both winner Jason Day and 2nd-place finisher Jordan Spieth. However, his next 2 picks of Matt Kuchar and Louis Oosthuizen barely pushed him over Howie72 by 1 stroke, and N-Bomb by 4 strokes. It was a proud day for our Aussies, as Jason Day raised the country’s first major trophy since Steve Elkington in 1995. After the first two days, it seemed as if the nation might have 2 golfers in contention, as Matt Jones led going into the weekend. However, Jones went over par both Saturday and Sunday to put him down the leaderboard. Aside from Aussie pride, srini701 must be feeling some Indian pride as Anirban Lahiri completed the best major performance of an Indian golfer ever, tying for fifth. Most common pick Jordan Spieth (ozzz2002 will have to explain himself for not making Spieth a unanimous pick) had a slow start, but a Saturday 65 put him in the final group. Day started the round 2 strokes up on Spieth, and he would never be within 1 shot. Spieth was 2 back for two holes total, while Branden Grace was 2 back for a few holes until he hit trouble with a double bogey at #10. He would finish third, but never came back into contention. Justin Rose sniffed a 2-shot deficit, but notched a double bogey as well on #13, and earned fourth by the end. Six different tippers picked both Day and Spieth. The top 3 all picked both, while illiniman14 in fourth chose only Spieth with other less-chosen golfers. Adam Scott was the third-most chosen golfer, but never came close to making the cut. The All Non-Picked Team of Branden Grace, George Coetzee, Robert Streb, and Tony Finau would have finished tied for third. The 2015 PGA major season is over, but things ramp back up on April 7, 2016 for the Masters!
