I thought I'd better fit this theme in before the Northern hemisphere loses its greens to autumn and while the Southern hemisphere is greening over for spring. Or something. _________________________ The Hubble Telescope has just picked up a sound from a fraction of a second before the Big Bang. The sound was "Uh oh".

Just outside of Rotorua are the Green and Blue Lakes which are next to each other. This is Lake Rotokakahi or Green Lake and yes, it does look green due to being shallow and having a sandy lake bed. Lake Tikitapu or Blue Lake looks blue due to rhyolite and pumice on the lake bed.

(loans Flopsy some panko flakes for those 'maters) Howie: Great pic. In BC (near Radium) there's a lake called Olive Lake. It's called that because it's verrry verdant, all the time.
