Don't like daylight saving. The only good thing is that it doesn't go dark as early at night. Never sleep very well the night the clocks change.

Daylight Saving in Australia begins the first weekend of October and ends the first weekend of April.

Yours would be ending, Jan, not beginning. Their seasons are opposite of ours in the Northern Hemisphere. We start on the 2nd Sunday in March and end on the first Sunday in November in the US and Canada.

In Belgium, the Netherlands and France (to name just a few) it's the last weekend of October. The European Union has promised t make an end to this system, but without fixing a date as to when it all ends.
