Yesterday, my growing town of Sunbury, Victoria, had its yearly Agricultural Show. Every year I enter a handful of exhibits into the art pavilion and this year my exhibits did quite well. While my photos didn't win anything, I got 1st prize for my decorated Father's Day card, 2nd prize for my decorated Mother's Day card, 3rd prizes for my painting, decorated Christmas card and decorated Birthday card as well as a special award (and $20 prize money) for Most Outstanding Special Needs Exhibit.

If you want to post photos then you need to creaate a Photobucket account, they are free. Then upload the photo that you wish to share to Photobucket. Once the photo is uploaded click on it and to the right you will see a little panel with four options, the bottom one is IMG, click on that and the link is copied, then paste that into your post.

Sunbury Show's on this weekend and I think this may be the last time I put any entries in the art pavilion. Not saying I'm giving it up forever but I think I should give it a rest for a while. Anyway, here's what I'm entering this year: 3 decorated greeting cards, 3 decorated canvases, a mosaic door plaque (which is going on my front door) and 4 photos (a goose family, a dolphin, four goslings and a dragonfly). After winning a big blue ribbon for Most Outstanding Special Needs Exhibit last year, hopefully I'll do just as well this year.
