Once again the first three from the previous round still occupy the first three spots on the ladder but, once again, in a different order. N-Bomb flew along the rails with 10/16 to snatch the gold medal from Sypher, who collected one of the three Golden Woods.

We had a dead-heat for third .. paper_aero won bronze on a countback with a +2 HoF/WS differential vs. +1 for illiniman14.

The three medallists were the only players to occupy the leader's seat, from day zero to the end. The rest of us were spectators.

In the semi-final round we had out first-ever 0/16 since the FA Cup tipping comp started in 2003. This unique achievement lasted just one round. It is unique no more: Sypher, George95 and srini701 all collected Golden Woods.

All of us scored a weekly win or a spoon or a bonus point except for PaulE, who finished with three blanks in those columns.

Crystal Palace failed to win their first-ever FA Cup. If they did they would've become the 44th team (see post after this one) to lift the trophy and, furthermore, it would've been the 10th season since 1889 that both the Champions of England and the FA Cup Winners were first timers:

The win by Manchester United came in their 19th cup final appear- ance (which equals record set by Arsenal last year). It was their 12th win (which also equals the record, set by Arsenal last year).

N-Bomb is a first-time winner of this comp .. srini701 is the only player to win back-to-back titles (2009 & 2010) and the only one to win this three times.

This year's FA Cup competition was the 14th edition. The defending title holder was srini701 & dg_dave was last year's silver medallist (paper_aero collected the bronze medal).
