As you may have seen in other threads, we learned yesterday that Christinap, aka Chris, died on 31st October 2015 after a long illness.

Chris posted in these threads for several years, pictures from her daily life which might be wrestling with her beloved dog, Susie, or duelling with her dreaded enemy, bindweed, or taking a wintry walk, or visiting a local event. I've taken a few of the images she shared with us and put them together; I'm sure you all have favourites, these are just some of mine.

Thank you for doing this, flopsy. It always was enjoyable to see her pictures and read her comments. She will indeed be missed.

Flopsy, you sure know how to make a grown woman cry. Thank you for putting this lovely montage together. I'm sending a package to Pete this week with all of these posts. It'll do his heart good for I fear it is broken into a thousand pieces.

The potatoes in that photo look sparkly clean. I sent her a pair of potato-scrubbing gloves for Christmas last year. I think she thought they were a bit of a strange gift but not when the crop came in - once she got to using them, she thought they were just the bee's knees. That was pretty sweet.

Tears are good; I shed a few when I was looking through her photos. I found a pic of her potatoes which I would have included if I hadn't recently posted a pic of my own crop from this year and I thought people might be confused. I used a photo of Chris's plum crop instead; they were clean, but I don't think she used gloves on them.

Oh darn, they look like red potatoes. Very clean ones at that. My mistake. Must get bifocles one of these days...squinting just doesn't work any more.
