I will go back when it's light and do them all properly.

I heard a commotion outside my window today and found this little fellow (rainbow lorikeet) flapping around in my garden. I suspect he is injured as he wasn't able to fly more than a few feet at a time although I could not see any obvious damage. I thought about catching him to see if I could help but there were other rainbow lorikeets in the trees above who were obviously with him. I thought it would be stressful for them if I interfered so all I did was take a few photos and then put out some fruit, water and seed for them in my garden.

Looks like I have survived another year so here are fireworks over Caroline Bay to bring in 2016 almost an hour ago.
