Does it no longer provide air or you just have to pay for it?

Glorious sunrise and mountains, Howie!

This is the Darling River in western NSW that between the drought and governmental decisions is doing it tough at the moment.

I think what upsets them is when people pull in for air but don't buy anything, I know we have had one garage here recently refusing a person air because they didn't want fuel. You can't blame them, it costs them money to provide the equipment etc.

Ah, that makes sense. If they all had free air again then we'd only buy it when we get petrol, but as the cheap petrol and free air are often in different places then people have to shop around using each one separately. The air is still there at BP but it's now charged for. There's only one place I know now which isn't but I have a pump if I can be bothered to use it as well.

The war memorial in Edgware.

Chinese New Year is always the most frantic time and there is no way sane people will go to the market. Everything is double the price, or more. The wise stay home, (especially when they have broken up from work,) and remain horizontal, munching snacks and goodies. Here is my traditional sweet and nut dish. I shall hardly move all weekend.

I just popped into my garden to move the clothes prop which was blowing in the gale and might have brought my line down and noticed that some of my freeshias were in bloom. Since we are predicted the worst storm in ages I decided to pick them rather than having them destroyed.

The three dogs on a hot afternoon cool down. Jess in front, Chip then Dusty. They play this game where Chip won't move until Jess moves and Dusty won't move until Chip moves. If Jess doesn't move then no-one moves but if Jess wants the game to stop then she lets the other know shocked

Well it is usually, but like the rest of the world, our weather has been weird lately. We had zeroC at the end of Jan and some frost. Very unusual, and not what I came here for 40 years ago!

With the help of a new tripod I have finally figured out how to manage night photography. Oddly the next one came out minus the awful orange glow, proving it's possible but I didn't change anything. It had other faults so I posted this one, Upper Street Islington.
