I saw that too. Oddly enough, when my mother was in school, she read "To Kill a Mockingbird" as required reading one year for English class. Her teacher's name was Lea Harper (slight change in spelling, I know), and she told her students, "If you miss the author's name on the test, I will remind you of it!" Mrs. Harper also died at the age of 89.
I read excerpts of the novel, but not the entire thing.
