My husband absolutely does not understand my interest in history and geography, because to his mind what does it matter what has happened in the past. I am very interested in current events, and in order to understand current events, a general idea of what has gone before in different areas of the world is very important. By understanding a country's history and geographical location, you can make a lot of educated guesses about what might happen in the future. I don't know why that's important to me, but it definitely is. My friends are constantly amazed at my analysis of things that will PROBABLY happen in this world, because what I tell them is usually what occurs. I have my love of history and geography and my perceptive nature to thank for that.

My interests in History. Hmm. Well, wars for one. I think they're interesting, especially World War II. Also, the Haulacaust (I apologize if I spelled that wrong, it's late.) I am really tuned into it.

Geography? No interest whatsoever. However, I managed to place second in my school geography bee last year. Interesting, eh? Makes me wonder when I learned those facts.

I love to travel and to learn about the world in which I live. I've always been a keen geography student. Europe, especially fascinates me as it has so much history! Sure, I'd like to travel to sunny, southern places just because I like to travel....but give me a place with a rich historical past--that would be my preference every time!
