I always check in to see your wonderful pictures and I've never commented. Shame on me and thanks for your hard work. I feel like I'm getting to see parts of the world I'd never otherwise get to see. And, flopsymopsy, I wish I had just a dram of your talent for putting a garden together!

Glad we've brought some more viewers out of the woodwork there! A slightly overgrown garden in Muswell Hill. Mine is worse as I lent out the lawnmower for a week and have to wait to get it done now.

There are not many farms left in our village but this one is thriving. Today is Dragon Boat Festival so no one is out there.

Yes I suppose it means you have a variety of veg all at once and not a surfeit of marrows until the peas kick in.

My daughter has moved to Denmark (Western Australia, not Europe), which is a coastal town about a 5-hour drive from us. We went down for the weekend recently and took lots of photos. This one is of Elephant Rocks (can't imagine where they got the name).

You'd think they were sculptures Carole, two next to each other. The railway line in West Hendon

One of the places we visited in Denmark was a Swiss chocolate factory. The chocolates looked divine but, at that price, I didn't sample any.

That's three Aus dollars per chocolate? Wow. Although I might have nibbled at a chocolate wabbit... I love those rocks, they do look like elephants. I can imagine a BBC helicopter searching for elephants through the treetops, zooming over the edge of the wood, and then we hear the excited but hushed tones of David Attenborough "and there they are now, just as we were about to give up for the night we see our first elephants of the day, motionless in the fading sunlight, backs turned to the water to protect their young from the freezing winds of the southern seas. One question remains for our research team to answer... what on earth are elephants doing in Denmark? And what is Denmark doing downunder? Oh dear, that's two questions." Denmark (WA) is lovely but the touristy things are usually expensive. We had an exchange student from Denmark (Europe) once so naturally we took her down there. And you were spot on about the "freezing winds of the southern seas". That is the Southern Ocean in the photo and it is cold!
