Perhaps this has been covered; if so, my apologies for the duplication.

I'm confused as to which you put first when explaining your quiz. Calling the left column 'A' and the right column 'B', does one say in one's intro:

"Match the items in 'B' with those in 'A'",
or
"Match the items in 'A' with the corresponding ones in 'B'" ? confused

I don't think I've seen anyone specify. Why not just go with the generic 'match the terms with their descriptions'?

If you have a look at some of the ones that have been written (and you can open them to see how they are set up without actually playing them), you will see that different authors have used different techniques. Some have been very specific - "can you find the word that completes each line", some have been more generic - "find the match for each person". They all work.
